The Department of Science and Technology has published its Philippine Metal Review Publication for 2022. And the most interesting portion of the review is the Scientific Journal Entitled: Optimization of MPEW Cast Iron and Non-ferrous Melting Process and Equipment for Enhanced Energy and Output Efficiency.
The study conducted numerous Foundry Operations technique and had modified their Crucible Furnace and Copula Furnace to their theoretically suggested efficient configuration which yielded efficiencies such as fuel consumption and melting speed reduction.
This study and scientific journal will help in the efficiency of Foundry Businesses such as ours in the Philippines, and will organically lower the fuel consumption of foundry businesses resulting to better economic results for both the business owner and the country.
